Hello Reader, Today’s all about the words you say to yourself and how they might be sneaky little gremlins, secretly steering you off track and keeping you stuck in a loop. 🔁 Here’s something to ponder… The words you say to yourself… Whether positive or negative, they’re running the show! Your subconscious is like Big Brother (or Amazon’s Alexa) — always listening, grabbing thoughts that vibe with your beliefs. Think about it! When you say, “I’m so clumsy,” you don’t actually mean you’re tripping over everything 24/7. It’s just a phrase, right? And when you say, “I have the worst headache,” you don’t consciously mean it’s a competition. But here’s the kicker: If you believe it (even just a little), your subconscious will latch on to those thoughts and work to make them your reality. 💥 Let’s break it down. If you randomly think, “I’m an incandescent bulb,” 💡 your subconscious is like, “Ummm, that’s a hard no.” ✖️ There’s no belief there, so it just slides off. But if you say, “I’m so clumsy” and secretly feel awkward, or “I have the worst headache,” and deep down you crave attention, your subconscious says, “Got it! Let’s lock that in!” 🎬 Yep, words are like VIP backstage passes to your subconscious. They don’t ask for ID or any proof—they just get in and start reinforcing your underlying beliefs. 🧠🤦♀️ The Weight of Words: “My Headache” and Other Frenemies 🚫 We’ve all done it—said, “My headache,” or “My sciatica is flaring up,” or “My allergies are terrible today!” 🦠 But here’s the deal: When you say “my headache” or “my illness,” your subconscious takes it as a “keep it” order. And it hangs on tight, like a Kung Fu grip. 🥋🤛
Try this instead: Say, “The headache I’m experiencing,” or “I’ve got a little pain right now, but it’s leaving soon!” 💨 You’re telling your mind, “This is temporary, and I’m in control!” 🙌 Why Saying “I Want to Lose Weight” Backfires 🧠💥 Sounds harmless, right? “I want to lose weight!” But hold up—nobody likes losing anything! Lose your keys? Ugh. Your subconscious sees “lose” and thinks, “Yikes, I must protect against loss.” So it resists the change you want. Try this: “I am lean, happy, and healthy!” 💪 It tells your subconscious you’re gaining something, not losing it! Common Labels We’re Better Off Without 🙅♀️ We’ve all been there—you mess up and think, “Why me?” Hmmm, not the best thought. Here’s why: Have you ever asked yourself a question – something like, “Hmmm, what was the name of that guy in the 90’s who sang that song?” If the answer didn’t come to you right away, sometimes it magically popped into your head later, and like a reflex, you automatically screamed out the answer. “WEIRD AL YANKOVIC!!!” Ah, yes! It’s all good unless you were sitting in church or maybe standing at the checkout of the grocery store… Anyway, that was your subconscious finally answering your question; it just needed time to look through your brain files. You asked, and your subconscious dutifully answered. So, just like with Weird Al, when you ask, “Why me?” your subconscious gets super helpful, and it will happily work to dig up all the negative things you have on file about yourself so it can provide you with an answer: Why me, you ask? “Because you can’t get anything right.” Yikes!
Instead, flip it. Ask, “How can I make this better next time?” or say, “I’m learning!” or “I’ve got this!” Your subconscious will switch gears and start finding solutions, not excuses. 🔍✨ Breaking News: Emojis Matter, Too! 😢➡️😊 Yep, even your emojis are sending signals to your subconscious. Are you constantly using sad or frustrated emojis? I once saw someone repeatedly post online about her insomnia, always using sad emojis 😭😭😭 and signing off, “Sleepless in Massachusetts.” 🫣 By using bummer emojis and negative-label language, she only amplified her struggle, instructing her subconscious, “Yep, I’m stuck in this sadness.” But guess what? Emojis swing both ways! 🥰 A 💪 or 😊 sends a signal of strength and positivity. Your subconscious and the universe pick up on that, too! 🌟 Flipping the Script 📜 Ready to flip some negative thoughts? Here’s how: See the difference? You’re telling your mind, “Let’s win!” instead of feeding it the same old tired story. You’re breaking free from that loop! 💥 Woo-hoo! The Power of Positive Belief 💖 Here’s the not-so-secret: your words are powerful! When you say things like, “I’m becoming healthier every day,” you’re planting seeds of change in your subconscious garden. 🌱 And trust me—your subconscious doesn’t question how it will happen; it just gets to work. ✨
So next time you say, “My headache” or “I’m so clumsy,” give it a big, bold… “CANCEL THAT!” Then, follow up with something empowering and watch your subconscious shift gears to make it happen. 🚀 Stay strong, positive, and fabulous. You got this! 💪💖 With loads of good vibes, 💃 Your Coach,
